About The Commercial Cleaning Industry
Did you know that professional commercial cleaning is estimated to be a $70 billion industry?

Commercial cleaning is one of the largest growing service industries in the world. This industry provides the essential task of cleaning for commercial facilities of all sizes and types, including office complexes, commercial headquarters, financial institutions, industrial facilities and medical centers. The commercial cleaning industry is viewed by many as relatively recession-proof and highly stable.

Commercial cleaning generates repeat business and recurring revenues since this service is performed on an annual contract basis. With the existing inventory of commercial buildings, there is already a huge market for these services and advances in technology will not significantly diminish demand for quality cleaning. In the United States, for example, there are over 20,000 companies providing commercial cleaning services. A closer look reveals that of the total number active in this field, only 10% are considered significant entities. The balance of the businesses (90%) are "mom and pop" operations with limited marketing expertise, management backgrounds and capital.
Furthermore, as companies continue to streamline their operations and outsource services, there will be new commercial cleaning accounts available.
