Dun & Bradstreet’s AllBusiness Ranks Vanguard Cleaning Systems a Top 20 Franchise

SAN MATEO, CA (March 2011) – AllBusiness, Dun & Bradstreet’s small business advisory company, recently released its third annual Franchise 300 rankings of national franchise systems and ranked Vanguard Cleaning Systems at #18. Vanguard is among the list’s Top 20, which include franchises such as Subway, Dunkin Donuts, 7-Eleven and McDonald’s.

Vanguard Cleaning Systems was included as #7 in Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2011 Franchise 500 in January, which also identified Vanguard as #1 in the commercial cleaning category.

To be eligible for the AllStars list, a franchise company had to have a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and have at least 25 current domestic franchised units (or 100 company-owned units and five domestic franchise units). The AllBusiness editorial team used a number of criteria to rank winners: franchise unit growth rate, financial strength, system size, years in business, years franchising, availability of financing and Web (brand) visibility.

Vanguard Cleaning Systems was #6 in the 2010 AllBusiness AllStar ranking and #13 in 2009.
