Director of National Account Sales - San Mateo, CA
Vanguard Cleaning Systems is a national franchisor of commercial cleaning services. Established in 1984, we currently have 41 regional offices throughout North America, approximately 1200 franchisees, and 6,000 corporate customers. We are seeking a Director of National Account Sales, based in the San Mateo corporate headquarters office, who will establish a national and regional sales program for facilities throughout the US.
This is a new position reporting to the CEO and reflects the rapid growth of the national franchise system.
Vanguard is seeking a strong, self-driven sales leader with a strong history of sales development and retention. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential as this position requires significant interaction among the various regional offices and closing sales with local teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieve significant revenue targets working with key existing and potential accounts
- Train and develop regional sales representatives so that additional national and regional accounts can be secured
- Coordinate with Master franchise and company owned regions to assure that accounts are properly supported with appropriate customer service
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum of seven to ten years previous sales and sales management experience, preferably in a sales development position with key accounts
- Ability to deal effectively with all types of personalities is essential
- Must be able to travel extensively.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and communications skills
