Vanguard Cleaning Systems is a leading franchisor of commercial cleaning services. Established in 1984, we currently have nearly 1400 franchises and 6000 corporate customers. We are seeking an Area Sales Representative for the Spokane, WA or Coeur d'Alene, ID areas.
The Area Sales Representative is responsible for the commercial account sales activities for the Spokane, WA or Coeur d'Alene, ID areas and assisting the Regional General Manager in achieving the overall target revenues and objectives within the region. With this job comes a dynamic opportunity for growth.
Key responsibilities include:
• Generate new commercial account sales from leads provided by Telemarketing Dept. • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers. • Generate own leads and new commercial account sales • Participate in regular team meetings and review sales activity relative to projected Performance • Coordinate startup of new customers with Operations Dept. • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Qualified candidates must have previous sales experience, preferably in a business to business selling environment. Management experience helpful and ability to deal effectively with all types of personalities is essential. Must be able to travel extensively throughout the area. Ideal candidate should also have a college background, be energetic, self-motivated and financially driven.
